Parsalist, Nov ’18:Can I put Insert card inside the product package and ask for the honest review?
Answer:
You may ask for review/feedback, but not positive. You may not say “if you are happy with your purchase, please consider leaving review/feedback”bookwormapril, Amazon Seller Central Forum

I have sourced a product from China that I am rebranding as my own. I would like to insert a promotional card in the box with information about my company, social media connections, website address, warranty info and an offer to receive a related product at a discount (coupon code).
My question is am I allowed to do this or is this against Amazon’s Terms and Conditions. Some people have said no I’m others yes it no problem.Talisman_Retail, Jan '15
A warranty card with instructions to register at a website would be fine. That is related to the product. Most every commercial product I get has a warranty card with a website. What is prohibited is sending the buyer off Amazon to purchase more products.Style, Jan '15
** main point – you need to be a brand / manufacturer – if just selling other brands – this comes into play
here’s another part from that forum:
Not sure if this helps: “Amazon will not accept marketing materials (such as pre-priced labels, pamphlets, price tags, or other non-Amazon labels).”http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=200243250#marketing36
For others who may be reading, understand that the OP is rebranding this as their own product. It would not be appropriate to put your pamphlet in a commingled product since another seller may sell that same unit, which would confuse the consumer.amznuser, Jan '15

Hello there,
I would like to ask you people if someone know what am I allowed to add as a “Package Insert”I want to make a small card that goes like : Than you for purchasing from us! We wish to ask you to give us your honest review on the product and how are you enjoying it! if there is any problem do not hesitate to contact us so we could take care of it.”
And in the bottom of it “P.S here is a 10% discount on you next order! Enjoy!”Is it allowed?Spasso, March '18
Not with the discount. Even if you’re not saying it’s for s review. It still reads that wayBooomchik, Mar '18
You can mention it as long as there aren’t any incentives and as long as you’re not asking for a 5 star review. You can say stuff like “thank you for … please leave a review” or something along the lines. There isn’t a posted policy that says this is ok, but the feedback policy doesn’t say that this isn’t ok.
Misuse of ratings, feedback, or reviews:
Any attempt to manipulate ratings, feedback, or reviews is prohibited.
Ratings and feedback: The rating and feedback features allow buyers to evaluate the overall performance of a seller, which helps sellers to develop a reputation within the Amazon Marketplace. You may not post abusive or inappropriate feedback or include personal information about a transaction partner. This also includes posting ratings or feedback to your own account. You may request feedback from a buyer, however you may not pay or offer any incentive to a buyer for either providing or removing feedback.
Reviews: Reviews are important to the Amazon Marketplace, providing a forum for feedback about product and service details and reviewers’ experiences with products and services – positive or negative. To ensure that reviews remain helpful, sellers must comply with our Community Guidelines. For example, you may not offer compensation for a review, and you may not review your own products or your competitors’ products. You may ask buyers to write a review in a neutral manner, but you may not ask for positive reviews, ask for reviews only from buyers who had a positive experience, or ask a reviewer to change or remove their review. If you think a review does not comply with our Community Guidelines, click on the Report Abuse link next to the review. For more examples of prohibited actions, click here.boomchick, March 2018
